Where can I play Azeroth Survivors?
Aethus hosts the original browser game at wow.aethus.pl. This independent guide has a launch link that opens the browser game directly in a new tab.
Is Azeroth Survivors free?
Yes. The original is a free fan-made game. This guide is also free to read.
Do I need to download or install World of Warcraft?
For Aethus's original browser game, open the game's website in a supported browser; a separate WoW client installation is not part of that browser play flow. The open-source community reconstruction is a different project. It requires local WoW 1.12.1 client data to run and does not ship Blizzard's assets.
Does Azeroth Survivors work on mobile?
Browser and device support can change with the game build. A desktop browser with a keyboard is the clearest starting point. Check the original game's own controls and support information for your device.
What if the game does not load?
Try a current browser with hardware acceleration, allow the first load time to complete, and use the game's own website directly. The community reconstruction has separate WebGPU and local-data requirements; those troubleshooting steps do not automatically apply to Aethus's original.

What is the difference between the original and the community reconstruction?
Aethus created and hosts the original game. azeroth-survivors-re is an open-source reconstruction that runs locally with user-supplied WoW 1.12.1 data. Its classes, zones, controls, and balance can differ from the original. We label reconstruction-specific information throughout this site.
Are the screenshots real game images?
Yes. Every screenshot on this site is an in-game capture from the community reconstruction's documented screenshot set. No image on this site was generated by AI. They do not claim to depict Aethus's exact current build.
Which keys do I use?
In the community reconstruction, WASD or arrow keys move; 1, 2, and 3 choose an upgrade card; Esc pauses; and C changes camera lock. See the full control table. For the original, follow the controls shown inside Aethus's game.
Is this an official site?
No. AzerothSurvivors.online is an independent fan guide. It is not affiliated with Aethus or Blizzard Entertainment. The original game is at wow.aethus.pl.
